The 2026 9/11 Memorial Ride is in the books and we would like to send out a bunch of thanks to all who helped and participated. While the numbers were smaller than in years past due to having to change dates, we still managed to raise over $6000 with about 120 participants. THANK YOU to all who participated and rode in the ride. We had a safe, accident-free ride led by the Cherokee Sheriff’s Department Motors Unit. THANKS GUYS!
We also want to send BIG shout out thank you’s to our volunteers – Debra, Tom, Davene, Richard, John, Reuben and Rocket. Without you, we wouldn’t have an event. You are all who make every year possible and we cannot express our appreciation and gratitude enough.

THIS YEAR WE ARE FOCUSING OUR FUNDRAISING EFFORTS LOCALLY
For the last 5 years, we have provided support for the Tunnel to Towers organization as part of our fund-raising efforts while, at the same time, supporting the families of local fallen First Responders who are killed in the line of duty. This year, we are going to concentrate our efforts 100% locally so we can work to support our own community at home. Along with the local families, we are in the process of finding another local organization that needs our support.
This year, we have chosen Connecting Georgia Veterans (CGV), an organization that provides support to veterans and servicemembers with needs resulting from homelessness, drug addition and more. You can find out information about CGV using the ABOUT tab in the menu above.
